The Joel D. Lapin and Family Scholarship

The Joel D. Lapin and Family Scholarship will be awarded to a CCBC student with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA who attended the Catonsville campus. The student must have graduated with an Associate’s degree or be an upcoming June 2022 degree graduate, and be transferring to a public 4 year college or university. Recipient must demonstrate financial need by filing the 2022-2023 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) with the transfer institution. Preference will be given to a student who is the first in the family to attend and graduate college. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and meet all financial aid requirements based on the FAFSA with the transfer institution.

The award will pay up to $2,000.00 towards tuition, books and required fees, or on-campus room and board. Any other expenses are not eligible for scholarship funds. Recipient will be selected in the spring semester and the award will apply to the fall semester at the transfer institution. The scholarship funds will be sent directly to the transfer institution.

Documents proving your financial need and enrollment may be requested by the scholarship committee to demonstrate your eligibility at the transfer institution.
