Kramer Family Fund Scholarship

Established in the memory of Battalion Chief Louis A. Kramer Jr., a dedicated employee of the Baltimore County Fire Department who served his community for over fifteen years. Chief Kramer, a long-time resident of Catonsville, and an alumnus of CCBC Catonsville, began his firefighting career with the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Company. He quickly rose through the ranks to become a Battalion Chief in April 1987.

This scholarship will be awarded for the academic year to a student enrolled in 6 or more credits/billable hours at the CCBC Catonsville campus with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be either a career or volunteer firefighter. Preference will be given to a career or volunteer Baltimore County firefighter.

Award recipient will be selected by the CCBC Scholarship Committee.
